Newton, MA – In recognition of its eco-friendly operations, Holly Cleaners has recently earned Platinum level green business certification by the Green Business Bureau, which is a national membership organization that uses an online assessment to certify green businesses.
By joining the Green Business Bureau, Holly Cleaners has demonstrated a commitment to principles and practices that protect the environment and promote customer satisfaction. The company’s “Green Clean “program includes dry cleaning with Solvon K4, which is biodegradable, hazardous-free, and the safest cleaning process available. This month they just installed their newest K4 cleaning machine, which will further enhance green cleaning. Between K4 and their Aquaclean wetcleaning process, we validate the claim of Holly being 100% eco-friendly.
In addition, Holly Cleaners continues to recycle all hangers and garment plastic. The company provides collection spots in all their stores and encourages customers to return recyclable products. They also use post-consumer recycled paper products in packaging and have outfitted all locations with low-energy lighting.
